From a young age, I've been captivated by the idea of discovering new places without breaking the bank. At 18, I realized it was possible and dove headfirst into budget-friendly travel. Between college semesters, I worked hard and saved up enough to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain, for 6 unforgettable months.

 

It was during this transformative experience that I embraced the "Foreign Native" persona, immersing myself fully in local life. My journey took me on a solo trip to Porto, Portugal, where I fell even more in love with travel and the authentic experiences it offers. From then on, I knew I wanted to share this passion with other young aspiring travelers
